Are you HUNGRY FOR SUMMER!??? We want to see your best summer memories!! Upload your favorite summer picture onto our Facebook page and you will have the chance to win a brand new QUATTRO 4 Burner Grill donated by Home Depot.
Whether it's a picture from Fair, a family vacation or just a night hanging out with your friends – upload it to our page by May 16th (11:59PM PT), encourage your friends to "Like" your photo and the TOP 5 most "Liked" photos will be reviewed by our judges and the favorite will win the BBQ!! Only one photo may be submitted per Facebook user.
Make sure to tell us a little about the photo in the description (What's happening in the photo? Why is it a special memory? When was the photo taken? Whatever you would like to share!) "Likes" will be tallied on May 18th @ Noon and the judges will make their decision that same afternoon. The winner will be announced May 19th and the winning photograph will be featured on the EDC Fair website! **All photos must be family appropriate. Enter now!

Personal “Walk of Fame” signs—$30 for the entire year.
Business Logo “Walk of Fame” signs—$50 for the entire year.
Signs will be affixed to the ground and will stay on the fairgrounds
throughout the year, not just at fairtime.

Historical Fair Dates
- The El Dorado County Fair began in 1859 without a fairgrounds, moving each year.
- In 1938, the Fair was held October 14–16, still without a permanent home.
- In 1939, the Fair moved to its current location, finally finding a permanent Home.
- 1939–1941: The Fair was held the third weekend in August for three years.
- 1942–1945: The Fair closed during WWII.
- 1950–1954: The Fair was held the second weekend in September for five years.
- 1955–1968: The Fair was held the third weekend in August for 14 years.
- 1971–1976: The Fair was held in mid-July for six years.
- 1981–1983: The Fair was held the last weekend in July, three years in a row.
- 1984–1985: The Fair was the first weekend in August for two years.
- 1986–1987: The Fair was held the last weekend in July for two years.
- 1988–1990: The Fair was held the first weekend in August for three years.
- 1991–1996: The Fair was held the last weekend of July for six years.
- 1997–present: The Fair has been held on Fathers Day weekend, the third week of June, for the last 15 years.
