From Sacramento:
Take Highway 50 East. Placerville is about 45 minutes out of Sacramento. Take Placerville Drive exit. Stay to the right and pass back over the highway.
From South Lake Tahoe:
Take Highway 50 West. Placerville is about 1 1/2 hours out of South Lake Tahoe. Take the second Placerville Drive exit. Turn right at first stoplight.
From Plymouth:
Take Highway 49 North to Placerville. Turn West on Highway 50. Take the second Placerville Drive exit. Turn right at first stoplight.
From Auburn:
Take Highway 49 South to Placerville. Turn West on Highway 50. Take the second Placerville Drive exit. Turn right at first stoplight.
Fairgrounds Access Gates:
Green Gate: Go straight through stoplights. Green Gate will be on the right side, across from
Big O Tires.
Blue Gate: Go straight through stoplights. Turn right just before Shell Station (Armory Drive).
Blue Gate is straight ahead.
Parking Tiers: Go straight through stoplights. Turn right just before Shell Station (Armory
Drive). Blue Gate is straight ahead, parking tiers are on left.
Yellow Gate: Turn right at second stoplight (Fair Lane). Yellow Gate is on left just past
Dennys.
Other gates:
Red Gate: ballfield/pit entrance
Checkered Gate: grandstand entrance from parking tiers
Brown Gate: next to Henningsen Pavilion and Log Cabin
Purple Gate: inside Brown Gate, next to washracks entering livestock parking
Secret Gate: entrance off County Building C road, into livestock parking
